On Sunday, August 4th, Phoenix Martial Arts in Swindon hosted the successful “Logan’s Run” fundraiser at Coate Water. This sponsored event saw 15 dedicated members participate, with many completing four laps around Coate Water—a grand total of 6.8 miles.
The run was organized by the club’s Rising Phoenix committee to raise funds for the upcoming World Championships in Croatia. Among the participants were six members who will be competing in the prestigious tournament next month. These athletes gave their all, using the full-distance run as part of their rigorous training regimen.
“Logan’s Run” not only showcased the commitment and endurance of our martial artists but also brought together the community to support a common goal. The funds raised from this event will significantly assist with the costs associated with attending the World Championships, highlighting the club’s dedication to providing valuable opportunities for its members.
This event reflects the strong community spirit and the unwavering support for Phoenix Martial Arts members, ensuring they have the resources they need to excel on an international stage.
