Swindon Martial ARts Black Belt Grading

Phoenix Martial Arts in Swindon is proud to announce the achievement of new Dan grades by five of its dedicated members at the black belt grading on April 21, 2024. This significant milestone was reached through hard work, discipline, and unwavering commitment to martial arts.

Among the junior members, Adam McKinlay, Kian Miller-Hogg, and Logan Rutherford successfully earned their first black belt (1st Dan). Their accomplishment is a testament to their perseverance and dedication to mastering their skills.

Senior member and one of the instructor team, Aylwin Thorne-Griffith, also achieved his 1st Dan, adding to the depth of expertise within the Phoenix Martial Arts community. Additionally, Assistant Instructor Alexander Burton advanced to 2nd Dan, further enhancing the instructional quality available to our members.

Our Swindon studio was privileged to host the black belt gradings, conducted by three masters holding 7th Dan and above, who travelled to oversee the rigorous testing process. Having such esteemed examiners highlights the high standards maintained by Phoenix Martial Arts.

These achievements underscore the excellence in training and the supportive environment that Phoenix Martial Arts provides. We congratulate all our newly promoted black belts on their exceptional accomplishments.
